The Solano Land Trust invites you to meet with Larry Broderick, to see eagles, hawks, falcons, owls and other birds of prey in the skies above Lynch Canyon.
Larry has been studing raptors for over a decade and loves to share his knowledge with both novice and experienced birders.
Lynch Canyon's hilly and open grasslands are an ideal place to view winter migrating species, year-round residents, and newly fledged raptors. Last October, participants counted four golden eagles, twenty red-tailed hawks, twelve Northern harries, eight American kestrels and many other hawks and falcons.
Meet at the Lynch Canyon parking lot 10:00 a.m. sharp. The gates to the park will be closed at 10:15 a.m. Docent-led tours as this is offered to the public as an opportunity to visit the land during the fall and winter months.
Bring water, snacks, sun protection, layered clothes, jacket and binoculars if you have them.
