Solano County Firefighters Respond To 3-Alarm Warehouse Fire
Breaking: Large plumes of smoke were visible from the fire at an auto glass warehouse south of Travis Air Force Base.

SOLANO COUNTY, CA -- A fire that started in a debris pile spread to the outside of a storage shed at an auto glass business near Fairfield Thursday afternoon.
Approximately 50 firefighters from several Solano County fire agencies responded to the 1:30 p.m. fire at the back of the Low Price Auto Glass business at 4659 Wiley Lane south of Air Base Parkway, Suisun Fire Protection District Battalion Chief Alfred Abruzzini said this morning.
The fire that started in a wood and cardboard pile burned three vehicles and a boat and caused minor damage to the outside of the glass storage shed, Abruzzini said. Damage is estimated at $100,000, Abruzzini
said.

The fire was controlled around 4:30 p.m. A Pick-N-Pull business located near the auto glass company in unincorporated Solano County was not damaged, Abruzzini said.
Firefighters from Fairfield, Suisun City, Vacaville, Travis Air Force Base and the Montezuma and Suisun fire protection districts responded to the fire, Abruzzini said.

ORIGINAL POST: The Fairfield Fire Department as well as crews from several surrounding agencies remained on the scene of a three-alarm structure fire late Thursday afternoon at an auto parts warehouse in unincorporated Solano County.
Large plumes of smoke were visible from the fire that erupted about 1 p.m. on Air Base Parkway, near Wiley Lane south of the Travis Air Force Base.
The fire started in a wood and cardboard debris pile and spread to the warehouse, Solano County sheriff's dispatcher Sanna Cline said.

The fire was still not fully controlled as of 4 p.m. Thursday, Cline said.
Firefighters from Fairfield, Suisun City, Dixon, Rio Vista, Cordelia, Travis Air Force Base, Montezuma Fire Protection District and the Suisun Fire Protection District responded.
