"PG&E so far has four confirmed reports of damage to its system in the PSPS-impacted areas," said Deanna Contreras, PG&E's North Bay Spokeswoman.

Pacific Gas & Electric Co. says pending any damages to system equipment, it expects to restore service by Thursday night to all 50,000 customers who lost power in Wednesday's fire-weather related shutoff.

Power was cut around 7 a.m. Wednesday, and at 2 a.m. Thursday, the company issued a weather "all clear" for all counties impacted by the shutoff. By 6 a.m., PG&E said it had restored power to an initial 10,000 customers impacted by the Nov. 20 PSPS. At 11 a.m., 55 percent had their power on, the company said.

In Solano County, the utility company said the shutoff impacted 133 customers in parts of Suisun City and Vacaville — down from the 1,970 Solano County customers who received 48-hour notices Monday that their power may be shut off.

In neighboring Napa County, the outage affected 11,556 customers in parts of Angwin, Calistoga, Deer Park, Lake Berryessa, Napa, Oakville, Pope Valley, Rutherford, St. Helena and Yountville.

Following issuance of the all-clear, PG&E says safety patrols and inspections, which take place during daylight hours, will continue throughout the day Thursday.

"Resources supporting the restoration include more than 5,500 on-the-ground field personnel and 45 helicopters," said PG&E North Bay Spokeswoman Deanna Contreras.

As of 12:30 p.m. Thursday in Napa County, power had been restored to 44 percent of impacted customers.

The city of Calistoga said police and fire personnel will continue conducting safety checks during the outage.

In Lake County, where 12,380 customers lost power, 74 percent had their power back on by 12:30 p.m.

For 162 shutoff customers in the Hopland area of Mendocino County, 99 percent of service was restored.

In Yolo County, 100 percent of 351 affected customers in the Brooks, Guinda and Rumsey areas had power by 12:30 p.m.
