PIANO LESSONS

The Keys to Music is my passion, my life’s work, and my home business. I have been teaching music in my community for more than 30 years. I specialize in teaching piano with one-on-one private lessons, but I have also taught choir, music theory, and music history in a classroom setting. In addition to the keyboard, I have experience playing the string, percussion, brass, and woodwind instruments. I teach M – F, 3:30 p.m. – 7:00 p.m., in my home studio. I typically teach half-hour individual lessons for $25, billed at the end of each month. Arrangements can be made for longer lessons depending on students’ needs or for family blocks at discounted rates. I truly understand how hard it is to work inside a schedule made hectic by jobs and children, so I try to be as flexible as possible. I keep my rates as low as feasible and still remain competitive with other teachers equal with my education and experience. Sometimes I help older students rediscover their music or hone their skills for special occasions like auditions with quick scheduled appointments, rather than setting up regular, long-term weekly lessons.
