2 Arrested In Suisun City Home Explosion: Police

A Dixon man and a Fairfield man were arrested on suspicion of intent to commit murder, Suisun City police say.

SUISUN CITY, CA — Police in Suisun City say two people have been arrested in connection with an explosion over the weekend at a Suisun City home. Thomas Capenhurst, 33, of Dixon, and Robert McGraw, 20, of Fairfield were taken into custody Monday on suspicion of using a destructive device with the intent to commit murder, police say.

The Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives assisted police with an investigation into the explosion that damaged a Suisun City home early Saturday morning. At about 1 a.m., officers responded to a report of an explosion at a home on Bluejay Drive, according to Suisun City police.

There, a resident flagged down responding officers and told them that a device exploded in front of their home. The explosion caused major damage to the home's front door area, police said.
