Police Release Results Of Friday's DUI Checkpoint
The operation was held on Travis Boulevard in Fairfield.

SOLANO COUNTY, CA – The Fairfield Police Department Traffic Unit arrested or cited several individuals at a DUI/Driver's License checkpoint held Friday in Fairfield.
Two drivers were arrested for suspicion of driving under the influence of alcohol, two were arrested for outstanding warrants, and another was arrested for allegedly being drunk in public, police said.
At the checkpoint that ran from 6 p.m. to midnight on the 1300 block of Travis Boulevard, 892 vehicles were screened. Nineteen motorists were cited/arrested for operating a vehicle while unlicensed or suspended, with three additional drivers officially served notices of suspended licenses, police said.
