Solano Co. Woman ID'd In Fatal Crash Off I-80
BREAKING: Anyone with information on the crash is asked to call California Highway Patrol.
SOLANO COUNTY, CA -- A 47-year-old woman who fatally crashed her vehicle into a tree after veering off of Interstate Highway 80 early Tuesday morning in Fairfield has been identified as Sonya Barron, according to the Solano County coroner's office.
Barron, a Fairfield resident, was heading east around 1:20 a.m. when she crashed her 2002 Volvo S60 on the Pittman Road off-ramp from the eastbound lanes of Highway 80.
Investigators said she made an unsafe turning movement.

The California Highway Patrol is asking anyone with information pertinent to the investigation to call 707-428-2100.
