Suisun City Man Arrested In Child Porn Investigation

SUISUN CITY, CA — A 26-year-old Suisun City man was arrested late last week on suspicion of possession of child pornography. Police say Christopher White was arrested Thursday, Nov. 16 following an investigation that began with a tip Aug. 22 from a Sacramento County sheriff's detective with the regional Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force.

"Suisun City detectives were informed that an email address in Suisun City was involved in uploading over 400 child pornographic files," police said in a statement posted to Facebook. "The files were reviewed by detectives who confirmed images and videos of children performing in sexual acts. During the investigation, detectives linked the email address to a house on the 1300 block of Potrero Circle within Suisun City."

Detectives obtained a search warrant for the house and identified the resident as White.

While serving the warrant, police seized numerous electronics. Upon reviewing the devices, detectives allegedly found more than 3,000 images and videos of children performing in sexual acts, police said.

White was arrested on probable cause for alleged possession of child pornography and was booked into Solano County Jail.

A search of jail records Tuesday indicated White has since been released from custody.
