Suspect Arrested In Alleged Lewd Act On Child At Party City

SOLANO COUNTY, CA – A 32-year-old Fairfield man was arrested for allegedly grabbing the bottom of a girl, 10, who was shopping with her family Sunday at Party City in Fairfield, police said today.

Gabriel Ostolaza was arrested on suspicion of lewd and lascivious acts with a child under the age of 14, the Fairfield Police Department said.

During the investigation, officers spoke with the victim and her mother and viewed the store's video surveillance, police said.

"During the course of the investigation, officers and detectives from our Family Violence Unit were able to determine that this same man had victimized three other young females both in Fairfield, as well as in Suisun," the department said. "The stores where these crimes occurred have fully cooperated with our investigation and were able to provide video surveillance from inside the store at the time of the incidents."

Ostolaza was booked into Solano County Jail.
