Work somewhere that matters!

The City of Fairfield is hiring two Crime Prevention Interns to assist with office duties and customer service.

Interns will check clients in and out, answer phones, monitor files, and assist with the Volunteers in Police Service Rides Home program. Responsible for performing clerical and administrative duties in a very busy setting with frequent interruptions. Assists staff by sorting mail, filing, answering phones, inputting registrations, greeting clients, drafting correspondences, maintaining client files, picking up and restocking supplies and other duties as assigned.

Must be able to pass a City of Fairfield Police Department background check and have a clean driving record. Work is done Mon-Thursdays between 2pm and 9pm and Friday between 3pm and 10:30pm. 18 hours a week.
Applications available at the Fairfield PAL Center (2195 Union Ave, Fairfield) between 3pm and 9pm only.
