• Community rallies to tranform vacant lot into temporary gatherying space (sierrasun.com) — A vacant, fenced lot at 255 North Lake Blvd. in Tahoe City is on track to become “The TC Yard,” a temporary community gathering space until a hotel project begins in 2027. Local residents and businesses are donating time, money, and materials, with a community cleanup on May 14 kicking off plans for food trucks, music, games, and family-friendly hangout space.
