Coroner IDs Woman Killed In Temecula Crash

TEMECULA, CA — Authorities Wednesday publicly identified a 53-year-old woman killed in a head-on collision in Temecula that injured another driver.

Lynne Green of Temecula died at the scene of the crash, which occurred about 10:35 p.m. Tuesday on Pauba Road, just east of Margarita Road, according to the Riverside County Sheriff's Department.

Sgt. Joseph Greco said the collision occurred when an eastbound Mercedes-Benz driven by Green crossed into oncoming traffic on Pauba, hitting a Subaru Forester.

The Subaru driver suffered minor injuries and did not require hospitalization.

Alcohol may have been a crash factor, according to Greco, but the crash remained under investigation Wednesday.
