164 New Homes Poised For Construction On Prominent Vacant Lot In Temecula
The Temecula Planning Commission will review plans for the proposed project located across the street from Big Horse Feed.
TEMECULA, CA — The large open field opposite Big Horse Feed in Temecula is expected to be filled with 164 new homes in the near future.
On Wednesday, the Temecula Planning Commission will review plans for the proposed project situated between Temecula Parkway, Butterfield Stage Road, and De Portola Road.

Dubbed the Elderberry Park community, the proposed project is located within the Paloma Del Sol Specific Plan. Construction calls for 164 single-family homes, ranging from 1,993 to 3,252 square feet. Six different floor plans and four architectural styles are proposed (Prairie, Farmhouse, Mediterranean, and Italian Eclectic), city documents show.

The plan also includes an approximately 3,000-square-foot private recreation center and ancillary amenities for residents, including a pool, spa, cabanas, BBQ area, dog park, pickleball court, and tot lot.
The recreation facility will only be available to Elderberry Park residents, according to city documents.

Grading and infrastructure construction have already begun at the site.
The developer on the project is Taylor Morrison.
