Flags waved and residents cheered Temecula's annual 4th of July parade that began the full day of activities across the city.

TEMECULA, CA — Thousands of residents parked lawn chairs and blankets along Temecula's Old Town Front Street Tuesday morning to watch the annual parade and celebrate Independence Day.
Most parade watchers dressed in patriotic red, white, and blue for the morning parade that was standing room only by its end.

As the littles were lined up with tiny flags, ready to wave, the parade entrants gathered to show their best red, white, and blue flair as they waved at judges, local dignitaries, family, and friends.
