4th Victim Found In Deadly Old Town Temecula Shooting
The alleged shooter is now facing one count of murder and three counts of attempted murder with enhancements.

TEMECULA, CA — Two men charged in connection with a shooting outside The Bank of Mexican Food in Old Town Temecula Sunday night that left one man dead others wounded, remained jailed Friday with pending court appearances.
Kevin Duane Hatchett Jr., 24, of Wildomar has been charged with one count of murder and three counts of attempted murder with enhancement charges of using a firearm to cause great bodily injury. He is also charged with one count of carrying a concealed weapon in a vehicle and possessing a large-capacity magazine, court records show.
Hatchett is due to be arraigned on the charges Feb. 10 and jail records show he is being held at Riverside's Robert Presley Detention Center in lieu of $1 million bail. He was booked into the facility at 8:36 p.m. Monday.

The Riverside County Sheriff's Department initially reported that, following the shooting, a man died at the scene, while another man and one woman were transported to area hospitals for treatment of their wounds. The deceased was identified as Desmond Dyas, 28, of Hemet.
However, court records show Hatchett has been charged with three counts of attempted murder in the case — the victims were two women and one man.

In the days following the shooting, investigators learned that a fourth victim, a female, was grazed by the gunfire and did not require hospitalization, Sheriff's Sgt. Brandi Swan explained Friday morning.
An update on the victims' current condition was unavailable.
Hatchett did not act alone, according to the sheriff's department. Nickolas Trichanh, 21, of Corona was booked into Southwest Detention Center just after 5 p.m. Monday on suspicion of being an accessory to murder. He was being held in lieu of $500,000 bail and pleaded not guilty to the charge this week. He is due back in court Jan. 24 for a felony settlement conference hearing.
The shootings were reported at 10:42 p.m. Sunday at 28680 Old Town Front Street, near The Bank of Mexican Food.
"One of the suspects shot all three victims while standing in the outside patio of the restaurant, and both suspects fled on foot," according to updated information Monday night from the sheriff's department.
Hatchett and Trichanh were arrested Monday.
Old Town Front Street was blocked in both directions and the street remained closed through Monday morning as investigators processed the crime scene.
No motive for the shooting was provided by the sheriff's department. A witness reported there was a verbal confrontation and the shooter challenged Dyas to "take it outside" before he fired on the victims.
Neither suspect has felony convictions in Riverside County, according to court records.
Anyone with information regarding the shooting is asked to call Investigator Horkel at the Southwest Sheriff Station at 951-696-3000 or Investigator Manjarrez with the Central Homicide Unit at 951-955-2777.
