Alleged Temecula Rental Scammers Back in Jail
Matthew Sinay and Brent Perry were back behind bars Tuesday after Temecula police investigators were contacted by a second victim of a similar alleged rental scam.

Two Temecula men who were arrested April 5 on suspicion of posing as property managers for vacant properties were back in jail Tuesday on additional alleged charges.
Matthew Sinay, age 23, and Brent Perry, age 26, are accused of collecting money for fake rental agreements, according to police.
Both had been booked into Southwest Detention Center on Friday after police investigated an incident involving a home on Ritter Court in Temecula.

They were freed from custody over the weekend after posting bail, but were back behind bars Tuesday when Temecula police investigators were contacted by a second victim of a similar alleged rental scam.
Based on the information provided by the victim, investigators served a search warrant for Perry and Sinay's residence in the 42300 Block of Wyandotte Street in Temecula, according to a statement issued Wednesday by Temecula police.

As of Wednesday, both men were being held in lieu of $35,000 bail at Southwest Detention Center near Murrieta, jail records showed.
They were due in court Thursday to answer to arrest charges including residential burglary, conspiracy to commit a felony and trespassing.
Additional victims and charges are anticipated, Temecula police stated.
