LAKE ELSINORE, CA — Labor Day weekend brings baseball, live music and waterfront activities to the Lake Elsinore, Wildomar and Canyon Lake area.

The Lake Elsinore Storm will close its final regular-season homestand with three Labor Day weekend games against the Inland Empire 66ers.

Friday's game will feature Omaha the Bat Dog, who retrieves bats for Storm players during the game. Saturday and Sunday will give fans two more opportunities to see the San Diego Padres' Single-A affiliate at home.

2. Catch The Labor Day Fastpitch Season Opener

Youth softball teams from across Southern California will compete in the Triple Crown Sports Labor Day Season Opener.

Activities will take place on the lodge lawn from 4 to 7 p.m., followed by live entertainment and Polynesian dancers. Food and drinks will be available for purchase.

Because Canyon Lake is a gated community, nonresidents should confirm guest-access requirements before attending.
