2. 1 Injured After Concrete Truck Overturns Near Temecula: CHP (patch.com) β A concrete truck overturned Thursday morning on Highway 79 near Dugan Drive in the Radec area east of Temecula, injuring at least one person. The California Highway Patrol reported an uncertain number of occupants and injury severity, and warned that Dugan Drive would be temporarily closed while crews handled the crash.

Temecula Woman Suspected Of Fraud, Identity Theft, Held On $300K Bail (patch.com) β Temecula residents are learning more about a local woman accused of running a large-scale fraud and identity theft operation, after investigators arrested her at her Temecula home. Authorities say they seized hundreds of items tied to forged documents, stolen credit cards and passports, with victims spanning San Diego, Riverside and Orange counties and even Arizona, while she remains jailed on $300,000 bail.

Petition Β· Improve bus stops and schedules in Winchester-Temecula-Murrieta (change.org) β If you rely on RTA buses around Temecula, a new petition is calling for better shelters, benches, and more reliable schedules across the WinchesterβTemeculaβMurrieta corridor. Organizers argue that seniors, disabled riders, and daily commuters face unsafe waits and inconsistent timing, and they're urging residents to sign on to pressure transit officials for upgrades.

Public Works Crew Completes New Pathway To 3rd Street In Temecula (patch.com) β Temecula pedestrians now have a new paved pathway linking the end of 3rd Street with the trail by the creek, improving access to Old Town without a car. The city also plans the Mercedes Street Sidewalk project, adding missing sidewalks and new crosswalks near 3rd Street, with construction expected to begin next year.
