• Amid Increase In Injuries Countywide, Temecula Launches New E-Bike Safety Course (patch.com) — Temecula is rolling out a new Safe Riders course to teach e-bike, scooter, and other micromobility users how to ride safely and follow California laws. Prompted by a sharp rise in e-bike injuries across Riverside County, especially among children, the program covers riding techniques, emergency maneuvers, and etiquette in public spaces like city parks and the Promenade Mall.
• Golden Pacific Powerlink: New Routes, Continued Concerns (obrag.org) — A massive 150-mile Golden Pacific Powerlink transmission project could reshape regional landscapes, with one proposed alternative route specifically designed to bypass Temecula by shifting lines south along Palomar Mountain. Preservation advocates argue San Diego County ratepayers would help fund lines that don't power local communities and urge residents to push for modern, less destructive energy infrastructure solutions.
