Crews Halt Small Brush Fire In Temecula
The blaze sparked in the 30900 block of Samantha Lane, according to Cal Fire and the Riverside County Fire Department.
TEMECULA, CA — Crews halted a small brush fire Sunday afternoon in Temecula.
The blaze was reported at 2:14 p.m. in the 30900 block of Samantha Lane, according to Cal Fire and the Riverside County Fire Department.
The fire scorched two acres, Cal Fire said. Officials initially reported the blaze at five acres.

The fire burned in heavy vegetation in a creek bed. Firefighters halted the spread of the flames by 3:31 p.m., Cal Fire said. No evacuations were ordered.
There were no injuries reported. The cause of the fire was under investigation.
