The Merc

After four unforgettable years of sold-out shows, we’re returning to The Merc once more — this time for a special listening room-style evening of live music.
Come be part of a night where the room is quiet, the songs hit home, and the connection is real, featuring Sure Sure, solo and acoustic. The band has played multiple headline tours of North America, as well as shared the stage with artists such as Bon Iver, Young The Giant, Hippo Campus, and Mk.Gee.
Also taking the stage is Chris Mozy, delivering a mix of heartfelt, honest, and instantly memorable originals, along with a few songs you’re sure to know. His ability to connect with an audience in a small room makes every performance feel authentic and unfiltered — making The Merc the perfect setting for what promises to be a truly special night.
This is not a loud club show. It’s not a festival set. This is an intimate room — and that’s what makes it powerful.
Every seat feels close. Every lyric lands. Every moment feels shared.
The Merc is a very small, beautifully intimate venue, and tickets are extremely limited. If you’ve been before, you know these shows sell out quickly.
Doors: 7:30pm Show: 8:00pm Location: The Merc, Temecula Tickets: https://events.humanitix.com/suresure
All ages welcome.
If you love honest songwriting, melodies that hit you in the chest, and being part of something that feels special from the first note to the last — this is your night.
More Information
Sure Sure is an indie band and home recording project that has broadcast their bespoke brand of pop music from the east side of Los Angeles since 2014. Led by singer/songwriter Chris Beachy, Sure Sure has amassed over 200M streams and garnered praise for their songwriting and production skills.
Lead singer/keyboardist Chris Beachy and guitarist/singer Charlie Glick met during their college years and began crafting songs. Sure Sure officially formed when the pair moved to Los Angeles to join up with drummer Kevin Farzad and producer/mix engineer Michael Coleman in 2014.
The band released three beloved home-cooked albums and toured successfully as both a headline act and supporting bands like Young the Giant, Hippo Campus, and Half Alive. The onset of the pandemic saw the departure of some of the original members to pursue new passions and creative pursuits.
As of September 2024, Chris continues Sure Sure as a vehicle for songwriting and homemade recordings. Sure Sure songs will always be deeply personal to him as they recount his life and experiences. Chris has set his sights on creating a new Sure Sure album for 2026, as well as bringing back the Sure Sure live experience.
Sure Sure is for fans of Weezer, Young The Giant, Hippo Campus and Peach Pit.
Fans of Chris Mozy typically enjoy Third Eye Blind, Dan + Shay, and All-American Rejects.

Saint Thomas of Canterbury Episcopal Church & School

St.Thomas of Canterbury Episcopal Church in Temecula will celebrate Blessing of the Animals & Pet Faire on Saturday, October 3, from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. The church is located at 44651 Avenida de Missiones, close to Temecula Valley Parkway.

All are welcome to bring their fuzzy friends for a blessing, expressing kindness and respect toward God’s creatures. Many Christians celebrate this in early October, the Feast of St. Francis of Assisi, a patron saint of animals.

The event reflects the belief that all animals are part of God’s creation and that humans are called to be caretakers of the earth.

Stuffed animals are welcome as well!
