Cocaine Smuggling Suspect Arrested On I-15 Near Temecula
Border Patrol agents arrested a man who authorities said was smuggling $110,000 worth of cocaine.

TEMECULA, CA — Border Patrol agents arrested a man near Temecula last week who was smuggling more than $100,000 worth of cocaine in his car, according to U.S. Customs and Border Protection.
The 29-year-old man was driving a Buick sedan on Northbound I-15 last Wednesday when authorities stopped his car. Agents questioned the man and searched his car with a canine, finding a tote bag in the front seat containing four bundles of cocaine, CBP said in a news release.
The bundles weighted 10.77 pounds with a street value of about $110,000, according to CBP.

The man, a U.S. citizen, was arrested and later turned over to the Riverside County Sheriff's Department. His vehicle was seized by Border Patrol.
