Coroner IDs RivCo Woman As Victim Of Wednesday Crash East of Temecula
The 27-year-old Palm Desert woman died when her northbound vehicle collided with another near Anza.
ANZA, CA — The Riverside County Sheriff's Department Coroner's Bureau identified a Palm Desert woman as the victim of a fatal crash near Anza.
Skylar Berry, 27, died at the scene of the collision, the coroner shared her identity after notifying her next of kin, the department stated.
The crash occurred just after 7 a.m. Wednesday, about 1.2 miles south of Cary Road in Anza, as she traversed SR-371 between Palm Desert and Anza. According to the coroner's report, officials pronounced Berry deceased about 15 minutes later.

Her vehicle collided with a Toyota Tacoma truck carrying two people, according to California Highway Patrol Officer Brian Seel's report.
Cal Fire/Riverside County Fire Department air-medics transported both a 56-year-old man and an 11-year-old child from the scene to a nearby hospital, both with moderate injuries.
