Driver ID'd In Fatal Rollover Crash Near Aguanga
The driver of a Dodge Ram pickup truck failed to navigate a curve on the State Route 371 late Sunday.

AGUANGA, CA — A 34-year-old man whose vehicle overturned on its side in Aguanga was killed, according to the California Highway Patrol.
Adrian Ramirez of Aguanga was fatally injured at about 10 p.m. Sunday on state Route 371 just north of Wilson Valley Road, the CHP said. A witness called the agency regarding a black Dodge Ram that was found overturned in the westbound lane.
Ramirez, who was driving the truck, was declared dead at the scene by medics.

CHP investigators said that the driver was unable to safely negotiate a curve in the road and crashed, driving off the west roadway and striking a large group of boulders, causing the truck to overturn. Ramirez was not wearing his seatbelt at the time of the crash and was ejected from the Dodge Ram, according to official reports.
"The CHP Temecula Area is conducting this traffic collision investigation, and would like,e to remind the motoring public to always buckle-up," Officer Mike Lassig said. "Seat belts can save lives and prevent injuries."
