Loud Explosions, Booms To Continue Across Southwest RivCo
Loud shaking booms coming from Camp Pendleton are expected to continue in Lake Elsinore, Murrieta, Temecula, Wildomar and the rest of SWR.
SOUTHWEST RIVERSIDE COUNTY, CA — Those house-rattling booms that rocked Southwest Riverside County Monday evening are expected to continue through Thursday, warned officials at Camp Pendleton.
A noise advisory has been issued by the base due to live fire exercises troops are conducting in the Whiskey/Zulu Impact area of Camp Pendleton, officials said.
The exercises, which are taking place from 6 a.m. to 11:59 p.m. through Thursday, involve troops firing high explosive munitions.
