• Santa Rosa Academy JV girls take cross country championship (menifee247.com) — Temecula's Galway Downs hosted the ASICS Cool Breeze Invitational, where Santa Rosa Academy's JV girls cross country team captured the small-schools championship against 80 Southern California teams. Local fans saw standout runs from individual champion Scarlett Oakley and several medalists as both the girls and boys JV squads brought home hardware from the Temecula course.
