Pechanga Now Taking Thanksgiving Feast Reservations

TEMECULA, CA — Looking to get out of the kitchen this Thanksgiving? Pechanga Resort Casino is now taking reservations for Thanksgiving dinner, whether for a to-go holiday feast or at any of the six restaurants at the resort.

Pechanga’s holiday to-go Thanksgiving meals prepared by the resort’s chefs include a 12- to 16-pound sage-roasted turkey with chestnut-onion stuffing and gravy; spiced sweet potato bisque; red beet salad with pears, pecans and pomegranate; rosemary roasted potatoes; lemon roasted Brussel sprouts; and silky carrot puree. The meal is served with cranberry relish and buttermilk bread, and the dessert includes a pumpkin cheesecake with cinnamon cream. The cost is $210 for the feast.

Guests can place an order for the Thanksgiving to-go meal now through Nov. 17. Call 951-770-2307 to reserve. Meal pickups will take place between 9 a.m. and 2 p.m. on Thanksgiving Day at Pechanga’s hotel valet area; a Pechanga team member will place the feast in your trunk.

For those who prefer dining out, the resort has several options. The AAA Four Diamond Great Oak Steakhouse is offering a three-course meal starting with butternut squash and roasted apple soup. The entrée is a roasted organic turkey with cornbread and sausage stuffing, mashed potatoes and green beans, cranberry sauce and mushroom gravy. Bourbon pumpkin pie is the dessert offering. The Thanksgiving special is $52 per person.

The Great Oak Steakhouse's nightly menu will be served in addition to the Thanksgiving special, according to Pechanga officials. For a Thanksgiving dinner with an Italian twist, check out the resort's Paisano’s. This year’s three-course meal starts off with a butternut squash soup with crispy pancetta, or an apple, arugula and candied walnut salad. It’s followed by a traditional Thanksgiving dinner including sliced turkey breast with gravy, Yukon potato puree, cornbread stuffing, creamy parmesan green beans, and cranberry sauce. Pumpkin budino brulee will be served for dessert.

Paisano’s three-course Thanksgiving dinner is available for $42 per person alongside the restaurant’s nightly fall menu. Open for Thanksgiving dinner from 4 p.m. 10 p.m., reservations are strongly recommended and made by visiting www.Pechanga.com/dining or by calling 877-711-2WIN.

For a more casual atmosphere, Kelsey’s Bar & Grill will screen Thanksgiving NFL games alongside a traditional dinner that includes white and dark meat roulade, gravy, mashed potatoes, Brussel sprouts and glazed carrots for $42 per person. Dessert is a pumpkin trifle for $10. Kelsey’s will be open from 4 p.m. to 10 p.m. on Thanksgiving and will serve its fall menu that includes wood-fired pizzas, burgers and 12 beers on tap.

The Pechanga Café will offer an a la carte Thanksgiving menu starting with a pear salad with acorn squash, parmesan cheese, baby spinach and a raspberry vinaigrette for $12. The roasted turkey entrée for $28 per person comes with mashed potatoes, green beans gratin, cornbread stuffing, giblet gravy, sweet potatoes and cranberry sauce. A slice of pumpkin pie can be had for $9.

Pechanga's 1882 Cantina will offer a three-course holiday dinner for $39 per person. It starts with Pozole or Esquites wedge salad. The entrée includes citrus brined dark and white turkey meat, chorizo potato puree, chili-spiced green beans, traditional stuffing and cranberry sauce. For dessert, there's pumpkin pie in a fried, crispy taco. The 1882 Cantina is open from 11 a.m. to 10 p.m. on Thanksgiving.

For those who want indoor or outdoor seating depending on weather conditions, Journey’s End offers both from morning until afternoon. Breakfast will be available, or for $28 per person a Thanksgiving dinner. The restaurant will be open from 7 a.m. to 3 p.m. Come early to get in a round of Thanksgiving golf.

Blends Coffee and Wine Bar and Café Cocoa are also offering whole pumpkin pies for pickup, for $28, starting November 1. Sugar-free pies are also available with 24-hour advance notice by calling 951-770-8511.
