Pechanga Resort Celebrates Cinco De Mayo: Mariachis, Authentic Food
Pechanga Resort and Casino is going all out for Cinco De Mayo in 2023. Check out food and drink specials from the casino to the poolside.

TEMECULA, CA — Pechanga Resort Casino is the place for Southwest Riverside County residents to go for Cinco De Mayo entertainment, food and beverage specials at casino bars, The Cove poolside and at 1882 Cantina, according to a recent news release.
Expect live Mariachi music from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. Friday, May 5, where authentic singers and guitars were scheduled to appear on the casino floor.
Starting Friday, May 5, through Sunday, May 7, visitors can expect Cinco De Mayo-style drink specials at Pechanga Resort Casino's bars, including the Corner Bar, Round Bar and Umi Bar.

"Guests 21 and older can test their spicy sweet tolerance with the Spicy Mango Margarita for $9.50," Pechanga spokesperson Ciara Green announced. "The drinks are concocted with real mango and garnished with a jalapeño wheel, the libation gets the party started. Those in the mood for beer will find bottles of Corona and Modelo available for $7 Cinco de Mayo weekend."

"Chef Eric Celaya and his team put a special Cinco de Mayo menu together for guests. For lighter fare, the shrimp aguachile with cucumbers, red onions, avocado, cilantro and salsa marisquera is a dish guests won't find at any Mexican restaurant," Green said. "Chef Eric prepares a pork chili verde with spinach, herb-roasted potatoes and frijoles refritos as a main course."
Order up frescas con crema (strawberries with fresh sweet cream) for dessert. 1882 Cantina is open Friday through Tuesday from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. on Sunday, Monday and Tuesday, and from 9 a.m. to 10 p.m. on Fridays and Saturdays.
Are you heading to The Cove Pool Oasis for a dip? Be sure to get your authentic tacos at The Cove's taco cart starting Friday through Sunday. For $3, guests can get a made-to-order taco with a choice of chicken, carne asada or shrimp.
Also at The Cove for Cinco de Mayo and throughout the weekend, the Hibiscus "Blowfish Out Of Water" Margarita for $15.50. Mixed with Blowfish reposado tequila, triple sec, lime juice and hibiscus syrup. The Cove also offers five bottles of Buenavesa in buckets for $38.
