An all-ages afternoon will include such family-friendly activities as a mechanical bull, ropin' dummies, shopping, pie eating and more.

"Beneficiaries with either life-threatening illness or traumatic injury benefit from this nonprofit fundraiser," Prestifilippo said. "Charity for Charity has been fulfilling wishes in our community for over 15 years.

"It's about hope and maintaining relationships with present and past beneficiaries and their families, as all become part of the Charity for Charity family," she continued.

The Charity for Charity mission is to make a significant difference in the lives of others "and inspire each other to accomplish incredible things." Prestifilippo told Patch that the wishes granted to recipients, whether trips to sporting events, a Disney cruise, experiences with someone's hero or assistance with life-altering medical devices, add a small bright spot in someone's life.
