TEMECULA, CA — Diane Trimble shared an amazing photo she took of Thursday's flyover salute to healthcare workers at Temecula Valley Hospital. We love this image!

A C-17 Globemaster III cargo jet and a KC-135 Stratotanker aerial refueling jet — both out of March Air Reserve Base — flew by shortly after 1 p.m.

Each pilot tipped a wing to honor healthcare workers.

Thursday's flyovers took place across 19 Riverside County hospitals. They started the route at 1 p.m. and it took under 90 minutes. Both planes and their crews — all Air Force reservists — were attached to the 452nd Air Mobility Wing.

"These flyovers incur no additional cost to the taxpayer," according to a Wing statement.
