TEMECULA, CA — As the weekend wraps up, we've rounded up a few stories you may have missed on Saturday and Sunday to prepare you for Monday.

This week's weather begins with moderately strong Santa Ana winds through at least Tuesday, followed by a chance of showers to end the week, according to the National Weather Service.

But before we jump into Southern California’s top stories, It's CyberMonday - after a three-day shopping bonanza, starting with Black Friday and culminating with the most significant online shopping day for electronics before the Christmas holiday.

Even Vice President Kamala Harris was seen supporting area businesses this weekend, sending out a social media post from a Venice Beach bakery. She honored the work "small business owners and employees are doing across the nation to grow our economy and support our communities."

Also around California, the U.S. Coast Guard suspended a search for a 54-year-old man who remains missing after a sneaker wave swept him and a 5-year-old girl away in Half Moon Bay on Saturday. Lifeguards pulled the girl from the water but she later died at a nearby hospital.

Catching up on the weekend, if you were out and about on the roads Saturday or Sunday, the Southland's freeways were slammed with travelers heading home after the Thanksgiving holiday.

Numerous fender-benders disrupted freeway traffic from I-10 to the 5 Freeway and beyond. A few serious crashes led to fatalities, officials report. Two people were killed and two others were injured in a crash just north of the 91 Freeway Sunday morning, according to the Los Angeles County Fire Department. San Diego and Riverside County firefighters aided victims trapped inside vehicles after crashes on Saturday and Sunday as well.
