Smoke Fills Temecula Valley From Nearby Brush Fire
The fire broke out Tuesday in the De Luz area of Fallbrook, according to fire officials.

TEMECULA, CA — A large smoke plume was visible Tuesday throughout the Temecula and Murrieta areas, as a brush fire burned in nearby San Diego County. The fire sparked at Conquistador Road in the De Luz area, according to Cal Fire. The blaze, called the De Luz Fire, broke out around 3:30 p.m.

Elsewhere nearby, a brush fire broke out near the 71/91 freeways after a car fire spread to nearby vegetation.
What's more, Southwest Riverside County residents can expect to see smoke in the region during the next few days.

"In an effort to minimize the number of calls to our dispatch center regarding smoke in the area," Murrieta police said on Tuesday morning. "The Murrieta Fire Department will be conducting a training burn this Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday in the area of Adams and Ivy."
