Southwest RivCo Dog Up For 'America's Favorite Pet': How To Vote
Meet Bear, a paws-itively amazing French Bulldog from Temecula, sitting pretty in 3rd place for the contest, with just over a day to vote!

TEMECULA, CA — A French Bulldog named Bear is climbing up the votes for the America's Favorite Pet online competition. With just over one day to vote in round one, there's still a chance at helping Bear and his fur mamma, Temecula resident Tiffany Brown, win the grand prize.
With those wide brown eyes and expressive brows, you just know this Frenchie is up to something.
Brown says Bear is "stubborn, funny, always hungry, competitive, clingy, never listens, and doesn't like sharing his mom or his toys."

A. Bear loves apples & anything he can chew on. He especially loves destroying water bottles.
Q: What is your favorite thing about your dog?
A: Bear's big brown eyes make my heart full. Bear likes sitting at the door to watch me instead of playing with his brothers.
Q: Why should your dog be America’s Favorite?
A: Bear can steal anyone's heart. He's so lovable and cute, even though he refuses to potty train!
Bear is sitting pretty in the top 20 for the first cut of the contest slated for Feb. 8, according to the website. The grand prize winner will be selected in April. The prize includes a $10,000 cash reward and a photoshoot, with the pooch appearing on the cover of Modern Dog magazine, according to the America's Favorite Pet website.
"Bear is my pride and joy," Brown told Patch. He and her other Frenchie fur babies are her "kids," she says.
Brown adopted Bear's mom in 2021, the same year she nearly died from kidney failure after suffering numerous medical complications with fibromas, ovarian cysts, and other issues. Brown says the dogs have become her family.
"I'll likely never birth children of my own, but having Bear makes me so complete and happy," she said. "This competition goes until April. I'm confident he'll make the top 20 and top 15. But if I win, I can take a family trip with my dogs."
