Southwest RivCo Woman Gets Gubernatorial Appointment

The governor announced the appointment this week.

CA Governor: Crystal Page, 36, of Winchester, has been appointed deputy secretary for communications at the California Labor and Workforce Development Agency. Page has been director of communications for Service Employees International Union California since 2018, where she was communications coordinator from 2015 to 2017. She was communications director at the Center on Policy Initiatives from 2012 to 2015, digital media coordinator at Good Jobs LA from 2011 to 2012 and associate producer for Brave New Films and Foundation from 2009 to 2011. Page earned a Master of Fine Arts degree in film production from the University of Southern California. This position does not require Senate confirmation and the compensation is $138,360. Page is a Democrat.
