Structure Fire Breaks Out In Temecula Home

A house fire in Temecula sent out heavy smoke Friday afternoon before being contained.

TEMECULA, CA — A fire inside a garage at a Temecula home sent out heavy smoke Friday afternoon before fire crews knocked down and contained it, a Riverside County Fire Department spokesperson told Patch.

Animal control was called to the scene, but there were no reported human injuries.

The fire, in a two-story single-family home on the 33000 bock of Valence Court, was called in at 2:20 p.m. Crews observed heavy smoke and flames coming from the garage.

The fire was knocked down by 2:41 p.m. and had been fully contained by 2:54 p.m. Fire crews will remain at the scene into the afternoon, according to Riverside County Fire.
