Summer Sunset Taste Of Old Town Returns To Temecula: What To Know

The Old Town Temecula Association vendors once again are showcasing the best local restaurants have to offer this week.

TEMECULA, CA — The Old Town Temecula Association is hosting its annual summer event, the "Summer Sunset Taste of Old Town, planned for Tuesday from 5 to 8:30 p.m.

Tickets are $30 per person, available online, at www.OldTownTemecula.org, or $40 at the door while supplies last.

The Old Town Temecula Association hosts bi-annual shopping and tasting events, one in the summer and one in the holiday months. These are "must-attend" outings for locals in the know.

When you go, expect a full map of participating restaurants upon arrival for late in-person shopping and dining. Get your map and your wristband for free tastings when you show your tickets at one of the two check-in locations: Citrus and Moss 28459 Old Town Front St (next to Starbucks); or Oak Grove Culinary Creations 41923 2nd St. #104 (across from the Civic Center Parking Garage)

"Attendees will stroll through Old Town Temecula enjoying food samplings from a variety of Old Town restaurants and retailers," a spokesperson for the event said.

Things to know:

You won't know where you're going until you get there.

One of the best parts of the event is the "secrecy" behind which storefronts are participating. "Participants and menu items will be disclosed and are kept secret until that night," they said. "Be prepared to be surprised by our fabulous local businesses. This event always sells out fast and is a big hit with locals."

The ticket price does not include tips.

Please bring cash to tip your servers. Spread some summer spirit by tipping your servers and supporting our local merchants.

Live music will be at select locations from 5:30 p.m.-8:30 p.m. Participating stores will be open late for shopping.
