Original Story as Follows:
A man with an outstanding warrant in Central California was barricaded Saturday Night inside a home in Temecula.
Deputies got a tip about 12:50 p.m. that the man was at a house in the 31000 block Monique Circle, Riverside County sheriff’s Deputy Michael Vasquez said. Officers were there by 1 p.m.
He refused to come out and a SWAT team was called in at around 5 p.m., Vasquez said.
It was unclear if the man was believed to be armed, the deputy said, adding that authorities have not been able to make contact with the suspect.
The sheriff’s department won’t yet say what the man is wanted for, and from what specific city.
Vasquez tells Patch that it’s not clear if anyone else is inside the home right now, but they believe everyone else who was there had left before law enforcement arrived.
“Prior to us getting there... people exited,” he said. “Since we’ve been there... nobody has exited the home.”
