The California Highway Patrol is conducting the operation.
TEMECULA, CA — CHP officers from the Temecula area will be out staffing a DUI/driver's license checkpoint in the Southwest Riverside County area tonight, the agency says.
The operation is slated to begin at 7 p.m. Friday and last until approximately 2 a.m. Saturday, according to the California Highway Patrol. The exact location was not disclosed, but it will be somewhere in the unincorporated portion of the county.
"The CHP would like to remind all motorists not to drink and drive," the agency said in a press release. "DUIs are 100% avoidable."
