Temecula Woman Charged With Stealing From Great Oak HS Booster
Jessica Anne Vulovic, 41, has been charged with one felony count each of grand theft over $950 and embezzlement.

TEMECULA, CA — The coffers of a nonprofit organization established to support Great Oak High School students were allegedly pilfered by a Temecula woman who was serving on its board.
According to court records, 41-year-old Jessica Anne Vulovic has been charged with one felony count each of grand theft over $950 and embezzlement in connection with funds that allegedly went missing from Great Oak Leadership Society, otherwise known as GOALS.
In March, Vulovic pleaded not guilty to the two charges and is due to appear in court July 19 for a felony settlement conference. If convicted, each crime carries a maximum three-year prison sentence.

The charity's goal was "to expand and enrich the educational experience of the students at Great Oak High School," in particular Wolfpack athletes, according to CauseIQ. Vulovic had served as the nonprofit's president.
The alleged offenses date back to March 2021, and the stolen funds amounted to $50,502.49, according to a criminal complaint against Vulovic that was filed earlier this year by the Riverside County District Attorney's Office.

Vulovic remains out of custody in lieu of $50,000 bail, according to court records.
A smattering of news reports and nonprofit websites show Vulovic has been involved in other fundraising activities in the Temecula Valley. She has not been charged with any crimes stemming from that work and has no criminal history in Riverside County, court records show.
