TRAFFIC ALERT: Temecula Parkway Closures Announced For Roadway Excavation
Here are the closures you can expect for the week of July 31 as construction continues on the Temecula Parkway Interchange Project.

TEMECULA, CA -- Temecula Valley commuters are urged to again plan ahead if their trip takes them in the area of Temecula Parkway and Interstate 15. There are several closures planned beginning Monday, July 31 as construction on a new, multi-million interchange continues.
Temecula officials say the closures will happen overnight and affect the freeway on and off ramps of Temecula Parkway (SR-79) at I-15 through Thursday.
"Roadway excavation in preparation for construction of a retaining wall and potholing in preparation for utility relocation necessitates the following nighttime closures," the City of Temecula said this week of the upcoming closures:

Where:
- I-15 Northbound on-ramp
- I-15 Northbound lanes 3 and 4
- I-15 Southbound on-ramp
- SR-79 outer Eastbound lane from Murrieta Creek to Bedford Court

- I-15 Northbound on-ramp will be closed July 31 – August 3, 2017 from 9 pm to 4 am
- I-15 Northbound lanes 3 and 4 will be closed July 31 – August 3, 2017 from 9 pm to 4 am
- I-15 Southbound on-ramp will be closed on July 31, 2017 from 9 pm to 5 am
- SR-79 outer Eastbound lane will be closed on July 31, 2017 from 9 pm to 5 am
The city notes that all times are approximate and may be adjusted "due to unforeseen circumstances."
