• Community raises $455,000 for burned Templeton Feed & Grain business (ksby.com) — Templeton residents and businesses have raised $455,000 to help rebuild Templeton Feed & Grain after last year’s devastating July 4 fire on South Main Street. Organizers say more than $513,000 was collected through community events and donations, with plans now moving ahead for a new store that honors the historic look while feed production continues off-site.
   

• CHP identifies SLO County man killed in weekend crash (sanluisobispo.com) — A fatal single-vehicle crash on Nacimiento Lake Drive killed 48-year-old Paso Robles resident Matthew Baumgardner and left the driver with major injuries, according to CHP Templeton. Investigators say the Camaro left the roadway and hit a tree, and the driver was arrested on suspicion of DUI as the Templeton-area CHP office continues its investigation.
