• Supes Approve 70 Riverside County Department of Transportation Projects (patch.com) — Major road upgrades are planned for Thermal, including improvements to Calhoun Street between Airport Boulevard and Avenue 55, if Riverside County secures new state transportation grants. County supervisors just approved a list of 70 road projects, including work in Thermal and nearby communities, to compete for $53 million in SB 1 funding for the 2026-27 fiscal year.
