Family Halloween Festival With Outdoor Movie Set Near Trabuco Canyon

TRABUCO CANYON, CA — A family-friendly Halloween festival featuring games, activities and an outdoor movie is set for Friday, Oct. 30, at Central Park.

The event will take place at 30842 La Miranda, with activities from 3:30 to 6 p.m. and an outdoor movie beginning at 6:30 p.m.

The afternoon will feature interactive games, music, inflatables, a petting zoo, pumpkin decorating, face painting, a rock-climbing wall, a mini digger, photo opportunities, community trick-or-treating and food trucks. A costume contest will include categories for families, children and babies.

After sunset, organizers will show "The Nightmare Before Christmas" at the amphitheater. Families are encouraged to bring blankets or low chairs. A character meet-and-greet, popcorn, kettle corn and warm apple cider will also be available.
