Mapping Homelessness In Unincorporated Orange County

While the county tackles homelessness, this maps all current open homeless shelters at cities near you, from Seal Beach to San Clemente.

TRABUCO CANYON, CA β€”During the tumultuous relocation of Orange County's transient population in recent weeks, the Voice of OC publication has mapped the location of homeless shelter/sleeping locations across 20 jurisdictions in Orange County. This homeless shelter map below shows both existing homeless shelters and potential emergency housing zones.

Some of the shelters include San Clemente's Gilchrist House, Laguna Beach's Friendship Shelter, Robyne's Nest in Huntington Beach, Tustin's Orange County Rescue Mission, Isaiah House in Santa Ana, Bridges at Kraemer Place in Anaheim, and many more at cities such as Irvine and Santa Ana.

While all cities must address homelessness inside their borders, the county continues to look for solutions for the now ousted transients from Santa Ana.

Their methodology includes SB-2 emergency shelter housing zones, based on county and city information, and according to that publication, is not exhaustive with several cities still remaining to be added.
