• 25-Year-Old California Park Employee Dies After Vehicle Rolls 300 Feet Down Embankment (people.com) — A 25-year-old OC Parks maintenance worker died after his vehicle rolled 200 to 300 feet down an embankment at O'Neill Regional Park in Trabuco Canyon on August 29. Authorities say the crash happened during his work shift, and an air rescue team could not save him. County officials and his grieving family are honoring his contributions while investigators examine what happened.
