Trabuco Creek Overflows, Roads Closed Until Further Notice
Across Orange County, roads were closed due to the rain but in Trabuco Canyon, Holy Fire Burn Scar areas got the brunt of the storm.

TRABUCO CANYON, CA β It was a day of heavy rain, soggy ground and uprooting trees and in Trabuco Canyon, overflowing creeks.
Orange County public workers were out in force cleaning up the streets and making sure the roadways were safe for all drivers. Floodwaters were diverted in the area of Modjeska Canyon Road in east Orange County.

Live Oak Canyon Road was closed at El Toro and Santiago Canyon Road, only open to residents, they said.

Meanwhile Trabuco Creek continued to overflow the bridge, with debris and logs forcefully topping the guardrails.
After the rains, repair crews will be out ensuring all are safe.
