• Bainbridge is ‘Lion of the Year' (times-standard.com) — Trinidad residents may be glad to know their local Lions Club joined McKinleyville members in honoring longtime volunteer Cyndi Bainbridge as “Lion of the Year.” Bainbridge, a 23-year member, helps lead projects like children’s holiday gift shopping, student speech contests, and free school vision screenings that benefit families throughout the North Coast, including the Trinidad area.
