• Los Alamitos expects cost saving with new OC Animal Care contract (ocregister.com) — Orange County’s main animal shelter in Tustin is now serving Los Alamitos, which switched from Long Beach Animal Care Services to OC Animal Care to save an estimated $117,000 a year. The Tustin-based shelter’s cost-sharing model and 24/7 field services will support Los Alamitos without reducing service levels for Tustin and other participating cities.
