Donations For Homeless Sought In Union City
Sleeping bags and blankets, both new and used, are being collected.

UNION CITY, CA — Eastin Elementary School PE Specialist Darlene Crittendon is collecting blankets and sleeping bags for the homeless. They can be new or gently used — just wash them before donating.
Donations may be dropped off at 34200 Alvarado-Niles Rd. in Union City, 94587.
Crittendon will make sure the donations get to Sunrise Village Homeless Shelter in Fremont. The shelter is part of Abode Services and runs a residential program that serves the homeless in Alameda County and beyond.
