Electrical Fire Damages Union City Home

BREAKING: No injuries were reported.

UNION CITY, CA – Firefighters extinguished a blaze that broke out in a single-family home in Union City on Friday morning, fire officials said.

According to the Alameda County Fire Department, at 9:17 a.m., firefighters responded to a report of a house fire in the 4200 block of Bolina Drive.

An electrical fire broke out in a second-floor bedroom, and neighbors tried to put out the blaze with fire extinguishers. When firefighters arrived, they were able to fully extinguish the fire.

There were no reports of injuries, and the residents returned to the home after the incident.
